Supporters of The ASCAP Foundation paid tribute to Stephen Sondheim at an intimate gathering held November 7, 2010 at the home of Academy Award-winning lyricists Marilyn and Alan Bergman in Beverly Hills, CA.

The evening benefited The ASCAP Foundation's "Children Will Listen" program, conceived by Marilyn Bergman five years ago, which is designed to introduce the American Musical Theatre to youngsters who might otherwise not have the opportunity to experience it.

Among those in attendance were Herb Alpert and his wife, Lani Hall; composer Dan Foliart; Darcie Denkert and Dean Stolber of MGM on Stage; and ASCAP's Director of Musical Theatre, Michael A. Kerker.
