The Classical Recording Foundation Honors Robert Paterson and Arlene Sierra with Composer of the Year Awards

The Classical Recording Foundation recently named their Composer of the Year Awards for 2011, bestowing the honor on Robert Paterson and Arlene Sierra. The 10 th Annual CRF Awards Concert and Benefit on November 21st at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall serves to fund and manage the effort by the Foundation to promote classical music. ASCAP is very proud of the two ASCAP members who won the award. The event will feature selections of Robert Paterson's The Book of Goddesses performed by MAYA. Highlights of Arlene Sierra's work will be performed the piano duo Quattro Mani. The Classical Recording Foundation not only enhances seasoned audiences, but expresses true musicality to newcomers across the world.
