Musical Instrument Insurance
As a songwriter, what could be more important than protecting the tools of your trade? Ever park your van full of equipment in a sketchy part of town? Studio Liability Insurance
MusicPro is proud to offer Studio Liability Insurance in direct response to requests from ASCAP members to supplement the Musical Instrument plan. This insurance is designed to protect studio owners/operators from suits involving bodily injury and/or property damage, and applies to incidents occurring at the designated studio location. Eligibility is open to ASCAP members who own or operate studios.
Tour Liability Insurance
Increasingly, performance venues are requiring artists to carry liability insurance for negligence claims leading to bodily harm or property damage, whether that damage is caused by the artists or their fans. Even when performance venues don't require it, many touring acts decide it is a good investment. This tour liability coverage offers maximum flexibility, whether that tour lasts for one appearance or year-round. Each participating member will receive a policy designed to meet his or her specific touring needs.
Premium cost to each ASCAP member will vary depending on: number of performances, type of show, attendance capacity of each performance, domestic or foreign performances, special effects, types of venues, and deductible options selected.
