Pandora ran an op-ed in The Hill yesterday attacking ASCAP's efforts to protect fair compensation for its members from the online music streaming service. Read ASCAP President and Chairman and songwriter Paul Williams's response here.

Drew will be responsible for overseeing the ASCAP Membership Creative Services staff in all musical genres and will also oversee the operations of the LA, New York and Nashville membership offices. The promotion was announced on May 21st by ASCAP CEO John LoFrumento.

The winners of the SongDoor 2012 International Songwriting Competition have been announced, with Grand Award going to ASCAP member Debra Gussin and co-writer Rik Howard for their song, "Is That You?," which also won in the Christian category.

ASCAP is pleased to announce that OnStage is now available through its latest mobile update. ASCAP Onstage gives members the opportunity to receive royalties when their music is performed live. The mobile version includes the ability to locate venues using a device's GPS. ASCAP members can now submit performances wherever they are.

The south Georgia based group made their debut with the emotionally powerful single, "Slip On By," produced by Christopher Stevens.
