Blake Neely is a composer, conductor and orchestrator, primarily working in film and television. He is currently scoring ABC's series Brothers & Sisters, Notes from the Underbelly and Eli Stone. His film work includes scores for Starter for Ten, The Wedding Date, First Daughter and Elvis and Anabelle. Additionally, he has written music for such blockbuster films as Pirates of the Caribbean, King Kong, Something's Gotta Give, The Last Samurai and more. In 2003, Neely received an Emmy nomination for his main title theme to the WB's Everwood. He has conducted and orchestrated scores for some of Hollywood's leading composers, including Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, Michael Kamen, Alan Menken, Danny Elfman and others. He has worked with leading ensembles around the world, conducting sopranos Jessye Norman and Kathleen Battle, the Kirov Orchestra of Russia, the KODO drummers of Japan, the London Metropolitan Orchestra, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the Busan Philharmonic in Korea, and the Czech Philharmonic.
