Chad & Jeremy

Chad Stuart and Jeremy Clyde, aka Chad and Jeremy, were "discovered" by famed movie composer John Barry. They delighted critics, fans and fellow musicians with a string of hits through the 60s including "Yesterday's Gone," "Summer Song," "Willow Weep For Me," "If I Loved You," "Before and After" and "Distant Shores." The former drama students were quickly snapped up by Hollywood, appearing as themselves in The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Patty Duke Show, Laredo and Batman. They hosted Hullabaloo and appeared on all the great variety shows including The Hollywood Palace, Red Skelton and Andy Williams. In the late 60s, Chad and Jeremy went their separate ways; Jeremy returned to the U.K. to pursue acting, while Chad remained in the USA, where he continues to work as an arranger and record producer. A reunion in the 80s produced an LP, tour and starring roles in the British version of the Broadway hit, Pump Boys & Dinettes. Ark-eology, a Chad Stuart-produced tribute to their classic albums The Ark and Of Cabbages And Kings, was released in October 2008. A documentary charting their history, titled Yesterday's Back, will be released in 2009.

"Chad & Jeremy gave us ballads, blues, humor, satire and stories. The glue that holds these elements together is a relaxed camaraderie with one another and their audience. " - Wood River Journal, Sun Valley
