Deborah Lurie hails from Palo Alto, CA and graduated from USC with the music composition departmental award in 1997. She's composed additional music for recent blockbusters such as Wanted, Spiderman 3, and Dreamgirls, and her own scores include Sydney White, Lasse Hallstrom's An Unfinished Life, " and Imaginary Heroes. In addition to film scores, Lurie maintains an extensive background as an arranger and producer. She's arranged for chart toppers such as Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, The All-American Rejects and Hoobastank.. Lurie often writes for the live stage, having produced the music for The Pussycat Dolls and the Off Broadway musical bare.
