At the 2007 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas — the self-proclaimed "Music Capital of the World" — ASCAP presented an incredible array of music with showcases featuring some of today's hottest bands and singer-songwriters. ASCAP also co-sponsored several other parties and showcases with other music industry leaders and hosted boat rides on Austin's Town Lake.

ASCAP kicked off nine days of events at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival with the launch of its Music Café on Friday, January 19th. Filmmakers, actors, composers, songwriters and festival-goers packed the Star Bar on Main Street in Park City, Utah to enjoy the thrill of live performances of music from an incredible array of writers and artists.
