ASCAP SHINES THE SPOTLIGHT ON EMERGING TALENT
AT NEMO 2005

ASCAP will present two showcases as well as participate on the "Understanding Publishing" panel during the 2005 NEMO Music Conference & Festival to be held September 29th through October 1st in Boston, MA.

ASCAP has a long history of showcasing singer/songwriters and bands that have gone on to achieve critical acclaim and commercial success, and, as a result, has earned a reputation within the music industry as being an invaluable resource for finding new talent. Through a variety of career development programs, ASCAP demonstrates its commitment to nurturing and developing new and emerging songwriters and artists in all genres of music.

ASCAP's high-profile showcases continue to be a highlight of the NEMO music festival. This year, the society will present a mix of acoustic and rock performances by some of the hottest acts from Boston and beyond.

Attracting almost 2,000 registrants, NEMO offers four days of topical and in-depth panels, a mentor program, performance clinics, an acoustic stage, a bustling tradeshow, and showcases featuring artists from around the world performing in the area's nightclubs.
