Tania Le�n To Keynote Spain's American Embassy Event

Tania Le�n

Composer, conductor and educator Tania Le�n will be the keynote speaker at the American Embassy in Madrid, Spain for the Embassy's Black History Month. The program will be organized by the Embassy in collaboration with the Museum of Americas in Madrid. Le�n will be an Ambassador of American Culture in Spain and the audience will learn about the unique culture of the US through Le�n's music and personal experiences. Le�n's honors include the New York Governor's Lifetime Achievement Award, and awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, ASCAP and the American Academy of Arts and Letters, among others. She is Distinguished Professor of the City University of New York in addition to her composition and conducting performances.
