HENRY KALEIALOHA ALLEN by the Hawaii House Senate as a "Living Treasure of Hawaiian Music on April 3, 2009 at the Hawaii State Capitol. He was also honored by the Hawaii Music Foundation the following day. Allen recently released a book called Learning to Play The Hawaiian Steel Guitar.
