The premiere was by the Monmouth Civic Chorus and Orchestra, conducted by Mark Shapiro, and took place in the auditorium of Brooklyn Technical High School in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn. Singleton was recently named Composer-in-Residence at the Fine Arts Academy in Tirana, Albania.
