The nominees for "Country Music's Biggest Night" were announced on August 31st in Nashville and September 1st in New York, with ASCAP members nominated in every awards category. The two-day, two-city announcement was intended to "focus even more attention on all the deserving nominees and their accomplishments," said Steve Moore, CMA Chairman of the Board.

Brad Paisley kicked things off with a nomination in both the prestigious Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year categories. The music video for Paisley's hit single, "Water," was also nominated for Music Video of the Year.

ASCAP members picked up every single nomination in the Album of the Year category, including Dierks Bentley's critically acclaimed bluegrass album Up On The Ridge. Bentley also scored a nomination alongside fellow ASCAP members George Strait and Brad Paisley in the Male Vocalist of the Year category, while Strait joins Bentley in Album of the Year recognition for Twang, which he also produced.

ASCAP's Paul Worley is poised to win big at this year's CMAs for his work on Lady Antebellum's Need You Now, produced by Worley and nominated for Album of the Year. The chart-topping, unforgettable single of the same name, also produced by Worley, was nominated for Single of the Year and Song of the Year, with ASCAP songwriter and "Need You Now" co-writer Josh Kear picking up that nomination. Kear will vie for the Song of the Year title alongside fellow ASCAP songwriters Rory Lee Feek (Joey+Rory) and Don Poythress for Easton Corbin's "A Little More Country Than That," as well as Miranda Lambert's "The House That Built Me," written by Allen Shamblin.

The 44th annual CMA Awards, co-hosted by Brad Paisley and dubbed "Country Music's Biggest Night," will be broadcast live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, November 10th at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.
