What was your first introduction into the music industry?
Miguel: I was introduced into the music industry by a production team called “Drop Squad” when I was a teenager.
What was your inspiration for “All I Want is You?”
M: The song was inspired by personal life experience.
How has your sound evolved, since you began performing?
M: The more I perform, the more conscious I am of how a song may translate in a live setting. So now, sound-wise, I like to incorporate as many live instruments in recordings as possible.
Are you open to performing in different musical genres?
M: Absolutely.
What advice do you have for up-and-coming songwriters/artists?
M: Work hard. Be honest with yourself and honest art will come of that hard work. Remember that you can't please everyone, but at the very least, honesty is respectable.
What are you working on, currently?
M: Currently, I'm completing my album for a 2011 release.
