| Boi 1da

| | At just 23 Canadian Hip Hop producer Boi 1da has had more accomplishments than many can claim in a lifetime. Boi 1da, born Matthew Samuels, started creating beats at the age of 15. After winning three beat-making competitions in a row, his career exploded. One of the most sought after producers, Boi 1da has composed hits like “Best I Ever Had,” “Forever,” and “Over” by Drake. His work can also currently be heard on “Not Afraid,” the lead single off of Eminem’s Recovery. |
 |
Dondria

| | With her covers of songs by various artists, such as Musiq Soulchild, Alicia Keys, and Rihanna, Dondria’s channel grabbed huge numbers of views. But it was her rendition of Ciara’s “Promise” that really helped to launch her career. The video received one million views and sparked an enormous following for Dondira. One fan in particular turned out to be none other than Jermaine Dupri, who invited the singer and her mother to Atlanta for a meeting. In 2007, Dondria officially signed with So So Def records and made her recording debut with the promo single, “Can’t Stop,” which she co-wrote with Chrisette Michele. |
